Ocarina of Time Remake Pre-Order & Editions

Nintendo has announced the game, but regional store listings and stock can change. This guide records what is confirmed now and gives you a checklist for the eventual pre-order window without inventing a global price or an unannounced collector's bundle.

Confirmed physical packaging

Nintendo says the first physical edition features textured foil cover art while stock lasts. That makes the first print an attractive option for collectors, but it does not mean every physical copy or every region will have identical packaging after launch.

The confirmed launch date is November 5, 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2. The official Nintendo announcement is the source for both the date and the foil-cover note.

Anniversary hardware timing

Nintendo also announced Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 hardware and accessories for October 29, 2026, before the game launches. The hardware announcement is a separate product announcement; do not assume a console includes the game unless a regional store page explicitly says so.

What to check when pre-orders open

  1. Confirm the retailer's region, currency, tax, shipping, and cancellation policy.
  2. Check whether the listing says first-print or textured foil packaging, rather than assuming every physical unit has it.
  3. Compare the physical and digital listings on your regional Nintendo store.
  4. Avoid treating a fan-made “collector's edition” image or an unverified USD price as an official listing.
  5. Re-check Nintendo's product page before paying because stock and packaging language can change.

The release-date hub tracks the confirmed date, while community reactions collects the questions fans are asking about stock, cover art, and whether to play the original while waiting.

No global price yet

The official pages used for this update do not establish one worldwide price. For the most accurate number, use the Nintendo store serving your country rather than copying a regional conversion or a rumor.
